Updated: Jun 17, 2018
In our daily lives, our bodies and minds are constantly being bombarded by energy, both good and bad. Have you ever met someone and immediately had a feeling from them, warm or cold? Their energy is picked up by our own, and we recognize positive or negative emotions from their presence. Each of us has that power. The energy we exude is dependent on our mindset, and through the practice of #meditation and holistic exercise like yoga, we can produce the energies that support healing and well-being. This is an integral part of reinforcing the front line of pysical and mental health to allow ourselves to fight or prevent cancer.
The body’s energy field begins with the discussion of chakras. Chakras are hot spots throughout the human body that take in and omit energies. They are essential hubs of energy exchange. It is believed that when one of the seven chakras are blocked, it can cause illnesses, such as cancer. The seven chakras on the human body include the Root Chakra, Sacral Chakra, Solar Plexus Chakra, Heart Chakra, Throat Chakra, Third-Eye Chakra, and Crown Chakra.

These Chakras also coincide with areas of the body, such as the heart, lungs, stomach, and brain. When blocked, an individual may be afflicted with an infection or ailment in the organ that coincides with that healing point. Through yoga and meditation, a person can keep their energy positive and flowing efficiently through their body, and the chakras within it.
The practice of yoga has been around for centuries for a sound reason. Yoga is more than just a physical experience: it is an exercise for the mind as well. It’s meditative and focus on the spiritual core is what compels individuals to feel the positive metal effects as well. Easily put: healthy mind, healthy body. Human evolution show many correlations to physical health and well-being. Mediation (on it’s own and as it correlates to yoga) helps maintain clear energy lanes to flow throughout the major hotspots. Even ten minutes a day can have a profound effect on your thoughts, mood, overall well-being and the energy you release into the world.
When it comes to cancer, it’s important to assemble the front line of resistance — a healthy body accompanied with a healthy mind. Understanding the energy that flows throughout opens up our abaility to emit and receive positive energy. While cancer is a disease of the body, it can also rooted in the balance and peace of the mind. If we continue to work towards filling our lives with positive energies, then cancer may never come to fruition.
